Serving the East Cleveland Community

The Pantry Program, Clothing Program, and Hot Meal Program have been the mainstays of the organization for quite some time.  In the past year, we expanded our services to include after school programs for children as well as a summer children’s club.  Seniors have their group meeting on the final Saturday of each month. 

Programs at the Center

We provide after school support in the following areas:  reading, math, computers, art, and basic skills.  Goody Bags are an added bonus for the children.  On special holidays, we have exciting art and crafts with support from our local volunteers.

Children’s Programs

We provide an opportunity for seniors to socialize and communicate at our center.  We also offer knitting and crocheting as well as friendly games.  The last Saturday of each month, Bingo, Brunch, and Food Bands are offered to the members of the senior group.

Senior Citizens’ Program

Each family is allowed to pick up groceries and supplies from our center once per month.  Cliff Williams, executive director of OFHC, ensures that everyone has a better experience than he did when he was “out there.”  Hot Meals are offered on Thursdays from 3:30—5:00.
